Donegal is so striking that even Rose Cottage takes their holidays there

Donegal is so striking that even Rose Cottage's people take a busman's holiday there! To show you what we mean, here are some shots from a short holiday taken by Kate and her daughter Sam earlier this year near Bundoran in Co Donegal. They trailered their two horses Valco and Zuko to a small self catering cottage in the hills there and set out to explore the countryside. At the end of the break they popped into the local yard and looked at a brown and white coloured horse called 'Killer'. Kate ended up buying him for the yard! We shall no doubt see more of Killer in due course.

This is the sort of scenery that you see when you come to Donegal. It's a little less wooded up in Malin where Rose Cottage is, but just as beautiful.
